Proofreading
The starting point for any self published book is that it is error free. Proofreading (sub-editing) is where a professional studies the text, line by line, picking out any grammatical, spelling errors or any other errors that writers commonly make. No book should be published without this process and any errors in a published eBook will be highlighted in the reviews which negatively affect the sales and ranking of the book. This is why getting a professional service to review your work for errors is vitally important. We offer clients this service, at very affordable rates, through some of the most experienced sub-editors in the country.
Cost: €8 per 1,000 words
Editing
If you need the guidance of an experienced published editor then this is the option for you. You can have your whole book read or just certain parts of it. You will receive comments and suggestions from our editors on how to improve your piece of work line by line. They will give detailed feedback on plot, characters and every aspect of the storyline. This guidance gives books that professional edge and will make your work much more appealing to publishers and readers.
Cost: €20 per 1,000 words
5 pg editorial review and guidance
If you want editorial guidance but at a more affordable rate then this is just what you need. You will have one of our published editors read the full manuscript and give detailed feedback. The report will be 5 pages long covering every aspect that needs to be addressed so the book is more commercially viable. Some of the aspects that the report will look at are writing style, grammatical difficulties, first 5 pages, character development, dramatic arc, target audience and interest to publishers. You will then have all the information you need to give your book the greatest chance of success.
Cost: €650 for 5 page editorial review of the entire book. (max 140,000 words)
One on One editorial Mentoring
If you feel the need for a more hands on service then our weekly editor meeting is the perfect choice. Our editors don’t take control of your work in any way, but instead guide you towards writing a book that is commercially viable be it through getting a traditional deal or by ePublishing it yourself. You will be assigned a published editor who has vast experience in making a piece of work a success. They will meet with you every week and go through your work, giving feedback and guidance in a one to one setting.

Writer training courses
We are proud to be teaching the Independent Colleges Diploma in eBook publishing. The course covers every aspect of getting your book to market successfully. Starting with idea selection, moving onto structuring the story correctly, selecting which platform to release the book onto, how to get your book onto these platforms and finishing with how to promote your book and get the attention it deserves.
